Features / 123 Betwixt & Brynn Alex

Now that I have somewhat of a handle on what my schedule will look like for the next little while, I have had more time to create new pieces. I received a bunch of new supplies the other week from 123 Betwixt, and have been dying to dig into them! Last night, I got my chance and made a bunch of new key chains and earrings. As soon as I take photos they are ready to find a new home, and will be available for purchase in my Etsy shop. Shop owner Elaine, located in BC Canada, sells the most darling little charms and beads. Her shop consists of both new and vintage supplies. They are the perfect addition to your next project! You can find some for yourself by visiting her shop on Etsy.

Elaine has another shop as well, Brynn Alex. This shop features cards, gifts, jewelry, and lavender sachets.

Brynn Alex is not just another shop on Etsy for me. The back story on how it was founded is one of heartbreak and love.

It is dedicated to the memory of Elaine’s daughter, Brynn, who lost her life in a traffic accident at 12 years old. This inspired Elaine to start the Brynn’s Memorial Arts Bursary(scholarship) Fund, which helps send students to Art school. Elaine’s story is both tragic and inspiring.

I purchased one of her “Brynn’s angels” to support her cause, and I ask that you do the same.

Please visit the official website to read more about this story, and Brynn Alex to support Elaine and her cause.

Features / Karli Boutique & Shimmer Tree Jewelry

Today, Imma hit you twice! Two features, for two very hardworking ladies.

I’ve been getting all of my stuff ready for future craft fairs these last few days, and I couldn’t do it without the help of some beautiful little brown tags from Karli Boutique.  Shop owner Karli, located in Alberta, sent out my order quickly, and her customer service was amazing. As if this wasn’t enough, she sent me bonus tags-cute little chevron ones! Aside from the tags, I ordered some boot cuffs, the perfect addition to my rain boots! We’ve been having some rainy days here in Ottawa, so they came just in time. These grey boot cuffs are 100% vegan and proudly made in Canada, so my conscience was clear as I strolled in the rain.

I would highly recommend Karli Boutique. If you are a fellow crafter or a fashionista you have got to take a peak!

Check out here shop, and blog for whatever your fix may be.

Of course, I don’t believe that any outfit is truly complete without a little jewelry, so before my stroll I had to put on these earrings and bracelet from Shimmer Tree Jewelry. Also from Alberta, shop owner Yolanda creates some absolutely beautiful pieces. Since ordering these little beauties I have gotten to know Yolanda on a more personal basis. She is one of the kindest and sweetest people, doing exactly what she loves to do. So, do me a favor will yah? Visit her shop! She has a large array of semi-precious gemstones, and some really fun designs.

The quality is outstanding, and the prices are fair, this little shop is a must-see!

Check out Shimmer Tree Jewelry today to add some pizzazz to your jewelry collection.

Feature / Stardust Trinket Box

My new birds nest necklace from Stardust Trinket Box has been keeping me company during the many changes mentioned in today’s update. As you all know, I love, love, love bird related items. I couldn’t resist.

Located in Toronto, shop owner Monica creates some really beautiful pieces. If you are searching for a cute addition to your jewelry collection, look no further. You can find some goodies for yourself in her Etsy shop!

She is having a sale right now too, so I would suggest heading over now before your favorite gets snatched up! And don’t forget to check her out on Instagram @ monicac_.
